September 3rd IPR Update

Today’s release feature two major updates

One, we have an evidence update that largely focuses on technological leadership and US hegemony, a key component of many affirmative cases.

*The most recent evidence on these questions

*Evidence from GW Professor and former debater Jeffrey Ding’s book on the diffusion of general-purpose technologies such as AI and how tech leadership in innovation in those areas do no provide unique advantages because they are quickly copied and diffused globally. He also argues that diffusion in a way that impacts relative national power takes decades

Two, we have an emerging set of Power Points coaches can use to support Policy debate instruction.  The final rollout covering all speeches and argument types will be available on Friday.
